About iFlirts: we put the face back

iFlirts on iflirts.online is a flirt chat built on live video, because flirting works better when you can see who you are talking to. This page explains the idea, the name, what each design decision cost, how the site is paid for, and what we refuse to promise.

What is iFlirts?

A flirt chat on live video: one tap puts you in a private, one-to-one conversation with a real person. No profile to write and no sign-up, and it is free to start.

the idea

Why does iFlirts run on live video?

Because most of flirting is not words. Think about the last time you flirted with someone in the same room. Nobody filled in a questionnaire first. There was a glance, a half-smile, a remark that was only funny because of how it was said.

Then flirting moved online and became an admin task: pick six photos, summarise your personality in a paragraph, send an opening message, wait. The format kept the words and threw away everything else, including the one thing that tells you whether a joke landed.

What gets lost is feedback. Face to face, you adjust as you go: a raised eyebrow tells you to explain the joke, a laugh tells you to keep going. In writing you send a line into silence and guess. Much of the anxiety people feel about flirting online is really the anxiety of not knowing how the last thing they said was received.

iFlirts on iflirts.online starts from the opposite end. We put the face back. A chat here means a live video call with two people in it, and the flirting happens the way it does in real life, in real time, with reactions you can see.

the name

Where does the name iFlirts come from?

Because the name says what you do here in the first person: I flirt. Not "I browse", not "I match", not "I wait for a reply". It is a small word for a small, human pleasure, and we wanted a site that did that one thing well.

The heart in our logo has a second, smaller heart inside it. One is you and one is whoever is looking back at you through the lens. That is the entire product.

trade-offs

What did each design decision cost?

Something, every time. A site is shaped as much by what it gives up as by what it offers, and it seems fairer to list the price of each choice than to present them all as free wins.

  1. Video first

We gave up the comfort of drafting. On video you cannot polish a sentence for ten minutes before sending it. In exchange you get tone, timing and an answer you can see.

  2. No profile to write

We gave up matching by questionnaire. Nobody is sorted by hobbies or star sign here. In exchange the first hello is seconds away, and people judge you by the conversation.

  3. One to one only

We gave up the bustle of a crowded room. There are no group rooms to lurk in. In exchange every chat has exactly one person paying attention to you.

  4. On screen only

We gave up distance filters and "people near you". In exchange the site has one job, conversation, and does not pretend to do another.

  5. An exit on every screen

We gave up keeping you in a chat. Next ends it in one tap. In exchange nobody stays in a conversation out of politeness.

beyond one chat

What happens after a good conversation?

You can keep it going, and that was a deliberate addition. A site built purely on random matches would lose every good conversation the moment it ended, so iFlirts lets you follow the people you like.

Following is the hinge between a lucky match and a familiar face. Once you follow someone, her profile is where you write to her or ring her on video, and Who's online lists the women who are around at this moment. The button-by-button version is on how iFlirts works; the point here is only why it exists. Random matching answers "who is out there?". Following answers "where did she go?".

money

How does iFlirts pay its bills?

Through coin packs. Live video is expensive to run, and we would rather be open about how it is funded. iFlirts is free to start, and people who want more matches or want to send a gift buy coins; every pack shows its price before you confirm.

That way of paying the bills has a consequence we accept: the site earns nothing from a visitor who tries it, decides it is not for them and leaves. The longer explanation of where free ends is on is iFlirts free.

what we will not say

What does iFlirts refuse to promise?

Anything we cannot show you. That rule decides what goes on these pages as much as what happens in the product.

We do not promise an outcome. A video chat can be the best ten minutes of your evening or a polite thirty seconds. Which one you get depends on two people, and no site controls that. We do not print numbers that move. How many free matches a new visitor gets, or how often the Reward Center refills, can change, so the pages describe them in words and leave the figures to the screen where they are current. We do not describe the site as free without a limit, because it is not.

The same goes for the conversation itself. iFlirts is a place for playful talk between two people who can see each other. It is not sold as a route to a relationship, and the page on iFlirts chat is about making a conversation enjoyable, not about getting anywhere with it.

fit

Who does iFlirts suit, and who does it not?

It suits people who like conversation for its own sake: the night-shift worker who wants ten minutes of banter, the shy person practising small talk, the traveller in a hotel room who misses being smiled at. It suits anyone who would rather see a reaction than wait for a reply. It also suits people who are better company than their own profile would suggest, which is most people: charm that takes a paragraph to describe badly takes about four seconds to show on camera.

It does not suit someone looking for a guaranteed relationship, a long written correspondence or anything crude. The community guidelines apply to everyone, the safety tips are worth reading before your first call, and if you need to reach us, contact has the address.

Questions

What do people ask about iFlirts itself?

What kind of site is iFlirts?

A flirt chat on live video. You tap one button and talk with a real person, one to one, on camera. It runs in the browser and is free to start.

Why is there no profile to fill in on iFlirts?

Because a form delays the first hello. The site starts a guest session for you, and people get to know you through the conversation instead of a bio.

Why does iFlirts have no group rooms?

A flirt needs two people. Every chat is one to one so that the person you are talking to is paying attention to you.

How does iFlirts make money?

Through optional coin purchases. Coins pay for extra matches after your free ones and for gifts.

What does the iFlirts logo mean?

A heart with a smaller heart inside it: you, and the person on the other side of the camera.

Does iFlirts match people by interests or location?

No. Matches are random, and Who's online shows who is online now. There are no questionnaires and no distance filters.

Can I keep in touch with someone I met on iFlirts?

Yes. Follow her, then use the message or video call button on her profile.

Does iFlirts promise that I will meet someone special?

No. It offers a real conversation with a real person. How that conversation goes is up to the two of you.

How do I contact the iFlirts team?

Email [email protected].

Enough about us. Go meet someone.

A real person is one tap away on live video. No sign-up, free to start.
