Privacy Policy

iflirts.online connects two people aged 18 or over for a private conversation on video, voice or text. Doing that requires a small amount of information. This page lists all of it, gives the reason for each line, and explains the route to erasing it.

01 The data we hold

Nothing appears on this list unless some feature needs it in order to run.

  • Session basics: your guest ID, born on your first visit; a display name, your language and the age confirmation you gave.
  • Things you choose to add: a picture, a short line about yourself, the people you follow.
  • Text messages sent inside chats.
  • A usage log: the time of each match, the mode it used (text, voice or video), and its approximate length.
  • Purchases of coins and the confirmation returned by the payment processor.
  • Reports made by you or about you, together with the outcome.
  • Technical traces (IP address, which browser and system you run, crash logs) that let us repair bugs and spot abuse.

02 What the person you talk to can see

In a video chat, your camera picture and your voice go to the person you are talking to, and theirs come to you. Text you type in a chat is visible to that person too. Remember that anyone can capture their own screen, so keep private things out of view. The safety tips page has a short list of what to check in your background before a call.

A display name, and a picture or a short line about yourself if you add one, are the parts of your session meant to be seen by others. Add only what you are happy to show.

03 Why we use it

  • To match you with someone and carry the conversation.
  • To remember your follows, coins and settings between visits.
  • To complete coin purchases and sort out billing queries.
  • To review reports and enforce the community guidelines.
  • To measure how the site performs, using aggregated figures.

04 Who else sees it

Outside companies do some of the plumbing for us: servers, video delivery, payments, analytics. They touch data only as we direct. We disclose information when the law requires it. If you want to know which categories of data are involved in a particular feature, the list at the top of this page is arranged feature by feature.

05 Cookies and browser storage

A handful of small entries are kept in your browser; they are what lets your guest session, language and consent choices survive a reload. Analytics tags count visits in aggregate. Clearing your browser data removes them, and with them your guest session.

06 Retention, and getting your data deleted

Session data stays while the session is in use. Coin receipts are retained only as long as accounting law obliges us to. To see, correct or delete what we hold, email [email protected] with your user ID. More on writing to us is on the contact page.

07 Age

iFlirts is closed to anyone younger than 18. If we learn that a younger person has used the site, the session and its data are removed.
